FanDuel Group inks pioneering Denver Broncos sportsbetting partnership

A little over a month after launching an online sportsbook for punters in Colorado and FanDuel Group has now announced the signing of a first-of-its-kind alliance with the western state’s Denver Broncos franchise of the National Football League (NFL).

The online sportsbook operator used an official Monday press release to detail that the arrangement represents its first with an NFL team and will see the three-time Super Bowl champion side serve as its official sportsbetting and daily fantasy partner in ‘The Centennial State.’

Advantageous association:

FanDuel Group proclaimed that the affiliation is to allow it to utilize the official trademarks and logos of the Denver Broncos across its own Colorado-facing online sportsbetting and daily fantasy sports products and provide its customers with ‘once-in-a-lifetime experiences and unique offers.’

Positive promotion:

The 101st edition of the NFL is due to kick off from September 10 while Mike Raffensperger, Chief Marketing Officer for FanDuel Group, used the press release to explain that the partnership with the Denver Broncos will also permit his firm to advertise its wares via signage located inside and around the team’s 76,000-seat Empower Field at Mile High stadium.

Fresh facility:

FanDuel Group premiered a mobile-friendly online sportsbetting and daily fantasy sports service for Colorado aficionados in early-May after inking a deal with the local Golden Gates Casino property from American casino operator Twin River Worldwide Holdings Incorporated. It pronounced that this product now provides area customers with a wide range of wagering markets on sports as diverse as gridiron football, golf, basketball, ice hockey, soccer and tennis alongside ‘a multitude’ of payment options.

Aligned aims:

For his part and Mac Freeman, Chief Commercial Officer for the Denver Broncos, pronounced that the pact with FanDuel Group will furthermore allow the firm to access the team’s own television, radio and digital advertising platforms so as to promote its services ‘directly to fans.’
