#9 Kansas (10-4, 4-3) travel to take on Oklahoma (8-4, 4-3) with the Jayhawks badly needing a win. Kansas comes into the game having loss two straight to Baylor and Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma, on the other hand, is riding a two-game winning streak. But, those games were against bottom feeders of the Big 12 in TCU and Kansas State.
Kansas Betting Preview
Kansas is homing for a repeat of the January 9th matchup where the Jayhawks defeated the Sooners 73-69. The Jayhawks were 17-of-27 from two-point range and David McCormack led the way with 17 points.
Ochai Agbaji leads the team in scoring at 14.8 points per game. Agbaji is shooting 43.8% from three-point range.
Freshman Jalen Wilson is second on the team in scoring (13.1) and leads the team in rebounds (7.6). Kansas fans have been clamoring for more of the offense to go through Agbaji, Wilson and Christian Braun as McCormack has really struggled from the floor, but has been better over his last four games.
The Jayhawks are ranked 14th by Kenpom. Offensively, they rank 20th in efficiency and the defense ranks 14th.
Oklahoma Betting Preview
The Sooners forced a number of turnovers the last time they faced Kansas. The problem was the inability to make shots as they hit only 38.3% from the field. Oklahom will certainly knock down more shots this go round.
Austin Reaves does a little bit of everything for Oklahoma as he leads the team in scoring (15.2), rebounding (5.2) and assists (5.3). Reaves has struggled from outside the arc this season, but has become a much better passer, with one of the better assists rates in the country.
Brady Manek (12.5) and De’Vion Harmon (12.0) are the other two players averaging double figures for Oklahoma. Manek is making 40.7% of his three-point attempts and Harmon is making 37.5%.
Kenpom has Oklahoma as the 26th ranked team in the nation. The offense is ranked 28th while the defense comes in at 40th. The Sooners do not turn the ball over much with the 7th best turnover rate in the country.
Mybookie has Kansas as a 1.5-point favorite. The total is set at 142.5 points.

Oklahoma should be the favorite in this game. While Kansas has the top 10 ranking, this is not your usual Jayhawks team.
Agbaji and Wilson are good, but they are not quite to the level where they can take over a game and put away teams. Kur Kuath should get more touches than usual today as I think he is a matchup problem for Kansas.
Lon Kruger has done a terrific job with this team and I expect a solid game plan as The Sooners put the Jayhawks to .500 in conference play. I also like the under in this one as the last matchup was played at a very slow tempo.
Kansas 67, Oklahoma 69
