Celtic vs St Johnstone Predictions
After another disappointment and early elimination from UEFA Europa League during the mid-week, Celtic FC can fully focus on Premiership matches. This weekend they welcome St Johnstone, hoping to get all three points and keep up with Rangers.

Match Preview & Team News
Neil Lennon has been under a lot of pressure even before last week’s embarrassment and defeat to Ross County in League Cup. This is probably the slowest start Celtic FC had in Premiership in the last decade. If St Johnstone snatches a point or three on Sunday, some could say that title race is already over. Read on our Premiership betting tips and predictions below.
Current Form And Home & Away Performances
Fans had high hopes on Thursday night when Odsonne Edouard and Tom Rogic scored two quick goals against AC Milan in Italy. However, situation has changed rapidly as Bhoys conceded three goals and lost all chances in Europa League. All of the recent results have been awful. Besides abovementioned loss to Ross County, Celtic also lost to Sparta Prague two times with total goal difference of 2-8. Premiership clash against Hibernian brought nothing good too, as Celtic barely escaped capital with one point. The current gap from Glasgow Rangers is 11 points, but Lennon’s side has two games less played. Albian Ajeti and Edsonne Edouard are topping goalscoring charts with five goals each.
As for their opponents, St Johnstone are currently in 7th place with 16 points, just one less than Kilmarnock and entrance to the upper bracket. Team has been struggling really hard to score goals, finding net in only 13 occasions in 15 games. A big majority of those were scored away from home (ten goals).
Goals Markets Betting Preview
We find the Over 2.5 goals at 4/6 to be the best option for this market. Celtic have been scoring and conceding a lot of goals lately, while St Johnstone scored ten times in just six trips in Premiership.
Betting Preview
Despite the recent crisis, Celtic shouldn’t have a lot of problems to secure three points here. Bhoys defeated Saints convincingly in the last nine head to head meetings. We are backing home win HT and FT here.
