All the best Nintendo Switch deals for Black Friday

The Nintendo Switch has been quietly crushing the casual gamer space for more than three years now, so the fact that there’s no new Nintendo console to compete with the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S releases this year shouldn’t really surprise anyone.

That said, we’ll still be getting some good Nintendo Switch deals this holiday season, including sales on games, peripherals, and bundles for consoles themselves. Whether you’re in the market for a new electronic addiction or you’re looking to expand your existing setup, check out the best deals below.

Nintendo Switch console deals

The main Nintendo Switch deal this holiday season is a bundle from Nintendo itself, packaging the Switch console, a digital copy of “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” and three months of Nintendo Switch Online membership for $299, which is what you’d typically pay for the console on its own. It’s the deal you’ll find at most major retailers, including Best Buy, Amazon, Kohl’s, and GameStop, and it goes live Nov. 22.

Walmart’s Switch bundle won’t be available until Nov. 25, so if you miss out on one of the Nov. 22 sales, you’ll have a second chance to grab the console; note, however, that at the time of publish it only seems to include “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and not the three months of Nintendo Switch Online.

There’s also a restocked special edition Nintendo Switch that’s branded for “Animal Crossing: New Horizons” — which, if you weren’t aware, is kind of a big deal game these days. The console costs $299 and comes with pastel green/blue Joy-Cons and cute designs on the dock, but it doesn’t come with the actual Animal Crossing game; you’re paying for the aesthetic alone on this one.

Lastly, if you’re looking for the least expensive Switch experience, the Nintendo Switch Lite has been marked down to $199 in Turquoise, Yellow, Coral, and Grey.

Black Friday deals on Nintendo Switch games

There are several tiers of discounted games for the Switch, and each retailer has slight variations on which games they’re offering for what price. Most have first-party Nintendo titles like “Super Mario Maker 2,” “Luigi’s Mansion 3,” and “The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening” for $39.99, but Walmart’s beating that deal by bringing the price down further to an even $30 for its Nov. 25 sales event, which goes live at 7 p.m. EST.
